Happy New year to you all. This year is where I feel my portfolio is in a good position and I’m ready for profits to roll in. Goals are pretty stupid, but I’ll make one, just so I can have something to laugh at at the end of the year. So the goal this year is to make $100,000 profit. That’s what this blog has been about from the start, trying to make $250 a day, and this is the first year I feel that can actually pan out.
$45,000 bet this week and a profit of $60. Not a great start, but at least the year has gotten off to a positive start.
Tennis is back and I can’t wait for this year. I was going to add set betting in this year, but it took me 47 minutes to place today’s H2H’s and it would take another hour to find the odds and place the set bets. Once I get streamlined again, I will look into sets again. Sportpunter is also adding total game betting this year, and if I can get the prices as advised I will be betting that also. So far down $1,000 this week on Tennis.
NHL Totals went into negative again with a $1,120 loss, but still up slightly for the season. NBL also lost $450 with small turnover. NBA Totals won $400 but H2H lost $750. My timing as always has sucked with the NFL model. I started betting both after they had reached their peak and have caught their demise. Totals lost $1300 and the Line bets made $1,000 this week.
Soccer, you know how this goes every week. FB Elite had 1 bet, which lost. Football investors picks lost $800, but their other picks (Strikezone), won $1450. So a tiny profit overall.
Last year, one of the lessons learnt was to never follow free tipsters. Well what do you know, I never listen to myself. I have started following Hugh Taylors tips at attheraces. As I am at my computer placing my other UK bets, I can usually manage to get very close odds to what he suggests. My stakes are fairly low on these, but I feel he is a pretty good tipster. Managed to start well with a $650 profit this week. The New Horse model again made a profit, close to $1600. This run has to end sometime and I just hope some other sports can support it when it does. Oz Horses made $450 and may have earned itself 1 more month before it is cut.
