$11,350 lost on 1 game

The only big AFL bet of the week just finished and what a heart breaker. There was $1,350 on St Kilda at $4.50 and $10,000 on +24.5. With 1 minute left Collingwood scored to make the margin 26. The worse part was that this morning when the tips were released, if I was quick enough I could have got a line of 26.5, but my spreadsheet didn’t work and I had to settle for the 24.5.

Just shows how things can shift so quickly. Instead of celebrating breaking the $100,000 barrier for the year, I’m back at $80,000 and a long way off again.

I guess I am going to need to get used to these massive bets losing every now and again, but right now it hurts a heap.

This week is not going to be pretty, so come back on Tuesday to see the rest of the carnage.
