Another poor week. Seem to be in that holding pattern that lasts for months at a time. Hoping the introduction of the NRL season this week and the AFL season a few weeks later is the catalyst for another major spike. Still 1/3rd of year 5 to go and if history can replicate itself, we should see some profit being made. But past results are rarely an indication of future ones. These periods are no fun at all. But as I told members of the Dailyprofit service yesterday, “we can not control when the profits will come. We can only control a few things. We control getting the best possible odds, we control our bank, we control record keeping and we control ourselves. The profits will come in time.”
Sportpunter had a terrible week. In total a loss of $14,200. The AFL pre-season started and I bet half stakes on these games. Only 1 win from 5 bets for a $5,900 loss. The NBL is now down to the finals and a loss of $2,500 this week adds to a poor season. NHL totals was also pathetic this week with a $4,500 loss. To wrap up every single SP model I follow losing, the Super 15 bets lost $1,300 also.
The less i say about ClubGowi the better. $4,750 lost this week and a minuscule profit for all the work involved over the past year and a bit. Golf bets lost $125.
TFA had an amazing week for me with $16,800 profit, but I had to look back over my results as the sentiment on twitter was pretty negative. Maybe it was because all other tipsters lost. FB Elite is now back to a tiny profit after almost hitting $20,000 at one stage, this week it lost $1,350. Football Value lost $2,000, Winabobatoo lost $75 and Football Investor lost $4,150. My own personal picks lost $1,400 and betting against tipsters added $500 profit.
This week should see me pass the $5 million in bets for year 5. In my dream year of hitting a 5% ROI, I would be sitting on $250,000 profit right now. Sadly we are on 0.89% ROI and $44,000. I do believe that one season will indeed see a 5% return, but until that time I am more than happy with a 1-2% return. Although it has been a rough patch, I’m optimistic that March will be a great month. Bring on the footy.
