This will be my last weekly post for the next 2 months. I will try and get something up at least once a month to keep everyone updated. I’m off to the UK on Friday and will be spending 2 months in Europe and America, woohoo. I have trained my monkey to place bets on AFL, Tennis, MLB and horse racing. I’m also looking to join a well known soccer model this week, so might be following that too.
Another great AFL and Tennis week. Baseball broke even, NRL and Formbet continued their poor runs. AFL added just short of $5,000 profit and Tennis added over $5,500. These were the 2 stand out models for sportpunter for the last 10 years and have really been showing why they are so highly regarded.
Dave from Formbet sent out an email on the weekend saying there would be no bets this week, he is a bit under the weather and I wish him a speedy recovery. But it got me thinking, what would happen if Dave or Jonno or any of the other people that run these services was to fall ill? Should a paid for service not have some sort of backup in place for such situations. Are their models something that can be handed off to someone else when they need a break for any reason? I guess I need to diversify and not have to much profit derived from just the one service, as if the worse does happen then it would have a massive effect on my profits. Something to think about.
