Another really frustrating week. Tennis has been terrible and lost $3,500 this week. WTA has lost about $15,000 this year and after almost 2 years is close to going into negative territory. I remember last year the WTA model having up and down periods, so will wait it out till the end of this year and if it hasn’t made a profit then it will be time to stop following it. With me following much fewer models, I have become much more reliant on the ones I do use producing a consistent profit.

AFL made almost $3,000 profit this week. It continues it’s amazing run. The only let-down has been totals betting, which I was not going to follow, but Jonno said he had confidence in it. I’m not sure what to do with it, it just hasn’t performed. Will give it another month and if it isn’t in profit for the year then I will have to let it go. H2H was the stand out this week, with a St Kilda win last night adding a big chunk to the weeks profit.

The horses model again contributed another $1,000. I have had to start taking much worse odds as most of my UK books are closed. Will keep a close eye on if its feasible to keep following these picks when my winners are paying out at much reduced odds. The sad fact of any successful model (especially horse racing), is that eventually the bookies either close you down or you have to take such poor odds that it makes it impossible to profit.

The soccer season is pretty much over and FB Investor had a great last week. It still ended my first year in negative, but I will continue next season. This season I followed 5 models. FB Elite ($3515), Skeeve ($1814), Football Investor (-$3711), FB Strikezone ($2460) and Formlabblack (-2631). Total profit was $1446, after subscription costs that makes it a losing season. I will not be following formlabblack next season but will keep the others.

Another nice profit of almost $3,000 for the week, but as mentioned earlier, I am frustrated with a few things. With soccer ending, I now will only be betting on Tennis, Horses and AFL for the foreseeable future, I would prefer to have a more diversified portfolio, but don’t feel there is anything out there at the moment that is good enough for me to follow.
