November 2017 Monthly Review +$17,440.00
November was another profitable month and at one stage had me back in profit for year 8. The NBA couldn’t match its early season performance, but the NFL came to the rescue with some amazing results. I also ticked over the $1 million turnover mark for year 8 and am sitting on a total loss of just $2,020.00.
In total, November saw turnover of $245,960.00 for a profit of $17,440.00 at 7.09% ROI.
I placed 245 bets over the month and won 123, lost 121, and had 1 refunded.
The NBA had a very poor month, due entirely to the H2H bets. It is the weaker of the two NBA models and something I will need to look at for next season. In November, I lost $10,480.00 on H2H bets at a -11.9% ROI over 97 bets. The Totals, on the other hand, have always done well and more than made up for the H2H model. Even in a poor month like this one, they managed a $3,210.00 profit at 3.2% over 102 bets. In Total, NBA lost $7,270.00 in November.
November was an amazing month for the NFL totals, I placed 45 bets and hit 62.2% of them for a $24,710.00 profit at 42.1% ROI. Last season was very poor for the NFL model, but it has done very well this year.
This time of year is an enjoyable time to punt. I spend 5 minutes per day placing bets on the NBA (and another 10min per week on the NFL) and the games are being played in the background as I get other work done. The next few months are very quiet as the NFL regular season ends in December and I only have the NBA to bet on. But before you know it, the NRL and AFL seasons start back up again and it’s crazy times once again.
Total profit for the month was $17,440.00
